Kevin Osborne Band Featured In Style Me Pretty

Thursday, October 31st, 2013

Thank you to Style Me Pretty for the mention in this stunning feature! Kevin Osborne and his band played to a packed dance floor for this lovely wedding at Angel Orensanz, shot by Michael Falco of Christian Oth Studios, and curated by Chandelier Events.

A quote from the bride:

Jonathan and I are music lovers so entertainment – both ceremony and reception – was key. I had been to a wedding with the Kevin Osborne Band before getting engaged so the choice to enlist him to entertain at our nuptials was obvious. After Angel Orensanz, Kevin was the next decision we locked in. We knew he could keep the dance floor packed (which he did all night) but was also open to playing some of the unconventional wedding songs like “Not Fade Away” by the Grateful Dead. He also helped us assemble an ensemble orchestra to play classical arrangements of our favorite songs, including Jonathan’s processional – “Across the Universe” by the Beatles. As a surprise for Jonathan, I walked down the aisle to string version of “Divided Sky” by Phish, our favorite band.

Wedding Reception Review: Dane Wright Band

Tuesday, October 29th, 2013

Hi Dane,

Marc and I wanted to thank you and your band so, so much for playing our wedding last night. I think I speak for both of us when I say that we were blown away by the flow of the party, which was pretty much just partying the entire night. It didn’t hurt that our guests came ready to dance, but you guys really outdid yourself with some songs we requested and others that were wonderful surprises. I had several guests who approached me wishing that they could get our wedding “soundtrack”.

I am dying to ask you who thought of ending our reception with “Tweeprise”. All of our friends figured we had planned it and were surprised to hear that it was a surprise for us, as well. That was such a highlight that will not soon be forgotten.

Once again, thank you so much. Your band is truly unique, and you guys provided the backdrop for such an incredible evening. We are SOOO thankful to have gone with the entire band as each vocalist added another element to the overall sound.

Alright, I could go on, but I will stop for now 🙂

Thank you again,
Michelle & Marc

Wedding Reception Review: Artie Stuart Band

Tuesday, October 22nd, 2013

I’d like to thank Artie for doing an amazing job at our friend’s Liz & Jon’s wedding Saturday afternoon.  I can’t say enough how grateful I am for the hard work Artie put into getting this party right.  Musically, it wasn’t an easy gig, with some very eclectic choices and special requests.  The band had the dance floor packed from the first song til the last!!  Very proud of Artie, the band is great!!!  EVERYONE loved the music…good job Artie!!

Wedding Reception Review: Dylan Matthews Band

Tuesday, October 22nd, 2013

Hi Lori,

I can barely move after dancing ALL night long to the Dylan Matthews Band.

The only thing Louis and I were allowed to suggest for the wedding was the band and boy did we look good last night!

The band was UNBELIEVABLE! It was all everyone kept talking about while they were taking a breather between dancing.

Even the music played during courses was excellent– great song choices.

And when the band was all out with horns and all, it was amazing.

Thank you so so much for suggesting them– they seriously rocked the party!

Best regards,

Amie, Stepmom of the Groom

Wedding Reception Review: Artie Stuart Band

Tuesday, October 22nd, 2013

Artie!

So, I totally texted you the day after our wedding about how much fun everyone had, and how awesome you and the band were, and I wondered why I never received a reply from you… After we got back from our honeymoon, I realized I texted your home number! Hahaha go figure.

Anyway, bottom line is THANK YOU so much for being a part of our wedding celebration. You, most importantly, were so wonderful. Your talent is just unbelievable, seriously. I loved our cocktail music, don’t you think I didn’t hear all of those songs! (Um Freebird? My mom and I were DYING! That’s our song!) and the reception music was fabulous. My friends couldn’t believe your range of music, country to dance to classics, just perfect. Also, I really appreciate you going out of the box for our first dance, and learning that song for us. That was so special and kind of you to take the time to do that for us.

I have to note that you and the band really took our song requests seriously, and respectfully played pretty much ALL of them! I feel like all of my friends have complained in the past about how their band/dj completely ignored their requests and played whatever they wanted. I don’t know if we just lucked out and you happened to just know a lot of the music we like, or you guys learned a bunch of new songs. Whatever it was, it worked out so well, and I’m so thankful that Harlan matched  us to you. I am also super appreciative of your professional approach- you got down to business, but still managed to be so down to earth and COOL! I really loved our phone conversations, and you taking the time to map out a perfectly (and classy, not awkward!) MC’d event. Kevin and I could not be happier.

You were just plain fabulous, and whomever I have to talk to to communicate that message, I would be happy to. You will forever have a referral from us! I wish you the best, and hope we meet up again in the future.

So many thanks again,

Rebecca

Marcus Reid Band: NYC Wedding Review

Tuesday, October 22nd, 2013

Kim,

It was PHENOMENAL. Marcus Reid was the best band I have ever seen. We had so many compliments and he got so into it – it was truly amazing.

Great call Kim and thanks for introducing us to him!

New York City Wedding Reception Review: Marcus Reid Band

Monday, October 21st, 2013

Hank Lane,

Everything was so easy, to the booking of the band, to picking out the songs. We were able to log onto the website to pick songs and change them whenever we wanted.  Our band was BEYOND AMAZING!!! We booked the MARCUS REID BAND.  They played a wide variety of music and sounded better than listening to the original artists on the radio.  Marcus and the members of the band took some requests and were so helpful with the details.   They kept the crowd engaged and dancing.  It was definitely my favorite part of my wedding, and I received so many compliments from my guests on how awesome the band was.

Henry Marks Agency & Co. at The Knot Gala 2013 at The New York Public Library

Tuesday, October 15th, 2013

Last night was the long-anticipated and spectacular annual Gala hosted by The Knot. Industry professionals from far and wide were in attendance to celebrate Bridal Fashion Week and be rewarded for their hard work. Henry Marks Agency band leaders Bobby Attiko and Kevin Osborne performed alongside DJ Allison Kay of More Than Music, a “Rock of Ages” tribute band, and several other Hank Lane Music ensembles. Special thanks to Fusion Lighting, for tricking out the enormous event space to create the perfect ambience, Dane Wright, and Creative Games Inc. for creating an innovative live Instagram feed projected onto screens throughout the library. Over 1,000 guests were in attendance, including Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici of The Bachelor, Randy Fenoli of Say Yes to the Dress, and Pnina Tornai, wedding dress designer extraordinaire. 12-foot mannequins modeling wedding dresses, designed by Gala planner and celebrity wedding planner Brian Worley of YourBASH!, decorated the space.

The Knot PR Director, Carly, gave us a glowing review. Thank you Carly, and everyone else on The Knot team!

“Harris & Marcus,

Where do I begin? Last night literally KICKED ASS. Everyone had the best time and it was due to your entertainment on every level. The music was on another level – everyone gave 10000000000% and you could tell. From Rock of Ages to Bobby to the horns coming down the stairs, it was just unreal. And the lighting, the video wall, Instagram feed, and videos literally just sealed the deal to a perfect entertainment  experience.

I can’t thank you both enough for working with us to make this a dream experience. This party was by far our best gala and a full on party because of your enthusiasm, energy, and amazing talent. I look forward to working with you both in the future.

Best,

Carly”

And a note from event designer Brian Worley:

“I should be sleeping, but I am still on a high from last night’s event and have not come down yet!  Honestly, there are no words to describe what you and your team pulled off last night!  Truly a fantastic evening of entertainment and y’all blew everyone away!  I want to thank you for the bottom of my heart for pulling out all the stops and just nailing what will be VERY difficult to beat in the future!  You have the most incredible team and such a huge array of talented performers!  I look forward to working with you many times in the future!  Y’all really ROCKED it out!

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

Brian”
