Dear Erik and Stephanie,
We can’t thank you enough for making sure that the music and entertainment at Rebecca’s Bat Mitzvah on Sat. was a huge success. Karen Lloyd and Shlomo were indeed the perfect line-up for what we were going for. The band was outrageous and surpassed all of our hopes and dreams for this event.
Karen is such a pro and, as you said all along, Erik, she is also a warm, down-to-earth and kind person. I can’t begin to tell you how great she was with Rebecca. She was very supportive and encouraging when Rebecca started to get cold feet about singing in front of our guests. With that support (and mom by her side), Rebecca pulled it off. Likewise when our son played trumpet on Hava Nagila. It all happened and it was such a thrill!
The Jewish music set? What a home run that was! Shlomo and the band played about 45 minutes worth of Jewish music and we ran wild with Steve Weintraub’s dance leading. Ask Karen and Shlomo about it. It was crazy — kids, adults, Jews, non-Jews — we had such a blast!
Karen called the music perfectly all night long. I only left the dance floor for the speeches and the montage. My legs are still aching. I couldn’t be happier. It was literally the time of my life. I know that every other member of my family felt the same way.
Thank you so much for putting your heads together to make our party perfect. You went the extra mile for us by figuring out the perfect musician line-up and also coordinating with our other entertainers. All of that attention to detail and professionalism showed in the final product. Everyone who was there was and is talking about how amazing our band was, including our friends who are musicians and the ones who are in the music business.
Please tell Karen, Shlomo and the rest of the band members how much we appreciate the excellent job they did for us on Sat. night. I regret that I didn’t introduce myself to Shlomo. I was so caught up in the party. Bringing him in was definitely a good move. I will never forget the amazing Karen Lloyd and her wonderful band.
Please tell Harris how well it went!
Thank you again!
With much appreciation,
Marjorie and Richard
