The Henry Marks Agency is pleased to welcome the veteran bandleader Wayne Holmes and his dance band into the company's musical family. We are excited to have this highly experienced and talented musician and performer join our team.

Wayne began taking Classical and Jazz piano while he was enrolled as a sophomore in college at the Brooklyn Campus of Long Island University where he graduated as a business major. It wasn't long before Wayne began to take out bands on weekends to earn extra money. Ten years later, as a keyboard player and lead singer, he became the leader of the popular party band 727 until 2002.

Today, Wayne is as busy as ever. First and foremost he is the leader of the Wayne Holmes Band, his exciting "set" dance band that performs all styles of music from the 1940s to Hip Hop. He is a Director of Music at LIU's CW Post Campus where he directs The Annointed Voices, a traditional and contemporary gospel choir. Wayne is also the choir director for the Newlife Church in Lakeview, Long Island, his hometown. As if that is not enough, whenever he is available, Wayne stars in a tribute to the late Ray Charles, in a live production called, Ray of Light. The show has been seen at Super Bowl XXXIV in Jacksonville, FL in 2005, at New York area country clubs, private parties and at casino show rooms throughout the country.
